Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that foster learning and growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies to promote good conduct.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning experience for all children.
- Provide care for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Previous experience in preschool or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and educate young learners effectively.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques to support children's emotional well-being.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred but not mandatory.
