The Assistant Property Manager supports the Commercial Property Management team, assists in day-to-day operational management of mixed use, retail and office properties, and plays a critical role in tenant relations and experience.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in day-to-day operational management of buildings and grounds
- Assisting with RFP and bid process
- Assist with administration of tenant leases in compliance with lease provisions
- Providing telephone support facilitating clear communication and fostering strong tenant/vendor relationships
- Lease administration including but not limited entry of leases, sales, contacts, etc.
- Processing service contracts
- Manage tenant, vendor, and building records
- Maintaining new/existing tenant and vendor insurance certificates
- Manage utilities including but not limited to tracking, processing and transferring
- Creation and update Property Playbooks
- Scanning and coding property invoices
- Property Incident reports
- Manage EnergyStar Program
- Maintain and update shared databases
- Management of janitorial supplies and equipment
- Assisting property manager in inspections and vendor follow ups including trash, landscaping, asphalt, etc.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Ensure tenant inquiries are timely and satisfactorily addressed
- Coordination of Property Ownership Monthly Reports
- Updating tracking program for HVAC, FLS systems, gross sales, etc.
- Update all parking and access controls cards
- Providing administrative support
Qualifications
- Position is 8am – 5pm Monday through Friday located at the corporate office in Midtown Detroit
- Prior experience in commercial property management
- Experience with Yardi and Commercial Cafe
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated and highly organized
- High School Diploma, College Degree preferred
