Responsibilities
- Ability to handle rejection and turn a “no” into a “yes”
- Update database to document call history including: records of customer interactions or transactions, details of inquiries, comments, actions taken
- Calling local and out of state contractors to request bids on construction jobs, provide information about products or services, and take or enter information
- Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve problems regarding bids
- Refer unresolved customer grievances to Estimators for further investigation
- Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of results or any planned adjustments
Qualifications
- Previous outbound call center experience
- Previous experience with the construction industry preferred
- Sales objections training
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred
- Associates degree or in school working toward a degree
