Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Zieglerville, PA. Entry level applicants are welcome if you are graduating or recently graduated with a major or minor in accounting or related field. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Daily activities will include reconciling accounts, preparing tax returns, analyzing financial data, assisting with job costing, assist with payroll, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Experience in financial record management and preparing financial statements
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Familiarity with financial regulations and tax preparation
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience in the construction or earthwork industry is beneficial
