The Saco Pre-K is seeking a Full-Time Educational Technician III BHP to join their team for the 2024-25 school year.
Position Purpose :
The mission of the Saco Pre-K is to provide our community with a safe, engaging, learning environment for our youngest learners, which embraces the unique strengths of each child and family and empowers students to grow and learn as part of our Saco School Department and beyond.
Essential Functions :
Promotes a classroom environment that is safe and conducive to individualized and small group instruction, and student learning.
Assists in classroom preparations and strategies for reinforcing instructional materials and skills according to individual student needs.
Assists with record-keeping procedures to document student learning and performance.
Assists with classroom behavioral management to minimize disruptions, ensure a safe and orderly classroom.
Qualifications Profile :
Ed Tech III Certification with Maine Dept. of Education
Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, and community members
Previous experience in a preschool setting preferred
