SUMMARY
Oversee control and operation of chemical transload facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely maintain and control the operation of the transload facility
- Make input flow corrections based on product analysis
- Document plant conditions on log sheets
- Monitor various gauges and indicators to ensure correct operation
- Collect product samples for quality control
- Work unsupervised
- Unload / Load liquid raw materials
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, valves, pumps as required
- Maintain clean plant and control areas

Position Requirements
Minimum requirements:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience / specific knowledge:
- Will train
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
- May be required to drive a company vehicle and comply with all vehicle regulations.
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
- Customer focus.
- Must be able to work unsupervised or with a team. Take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details and follow work rules.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to write, speak and understand English.
Physical demands:
- Physical ability to lift as much as 50lbs, bend/stoop, kneel and climb ladders.
- Ability to use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such as simple grasp and twisting motion included.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and work from elevated platforms.
Working conditions:
- Must be able and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and must work overtime as required. Be reasonably available to respond to and report to work in call-in situations.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Travel as needed.
