Babysitter/Nanny

Job Summary

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and reliable nanny to care for our twin 5-year-olds. The ideal candidate will be kid-oriented, enjoy spending time outdoors, and be capable of managing household duties related to meal preparation and tidying. This position starts with a trial run during spring break, with the potential to continue beyond this period.

Responsibilities:

• Childcare:
• Engage in activities that promote learning and fun, both indoors and outdoors.
• Plan and execute outdoor adventures, such as park visits, nature walks, and playdates.
• Foster a nurturing environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Household Duties:
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Maintain a tidy and organized home environment, focusing on areas used by the children.
• Assist with laundry and other household tasks as needed.
• Communication:
• Keep parents informed about daily activities, meals, and any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with parents to ensure consistency in discipline and routines.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young children, preferably twins or multiple children.
• Ability to create engaging outdoor activities and manage children in various settings.
• Basic cooking skills and knowledge of healthy meal preparation.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy home environment.
• Excellent communication skills to keep parents updated.
• First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
