What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Coordinator position at Sacramento Camp and Conference Center?
Qualifications:
- Have a sincere love for Jesus and a burning desire to see others come to know and grow in Him.

- Eager to know and love on the guest of this ministry as part of fulfilling the mission and vision of SCCC
- Flexible and willing to work with all staff, guests, agencies, etc.
- Be able to express a contagious passion for Christian camping and related ministries..
- Demonstrates wisdom and discernment in decisions affecting personal and corporate safety.
- Associates degree in a relevant field desirable. Experience may substitute for education.
- Must be able to perform physical work in a rugged mountain setting.
- Be able to acquire potable and wastewater operator’s license within 2 years
- Minimum Age 21
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all work areas are clean, safe, and orderly at all times.
- Supervise, work with, and train summer staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Be able to make business trips for the organization as needed
- Ensure that all the buildings are maintained up to ACA standards and in good working order providing for the safety and comfort of the guest. This includes but is not limited to: o Maintain proper building and emergency lighting o Maintain plumping / Electrical fixtures, HVAC units, Fire suppression systems, and Extinguishers
- Updating and maintain the work order system and Inspection Reports
- Maintain all outside facilities to include but not limited to:
o Ensure the grass is well kept
o Weed control
o Maintain all walkways
o Maintain roads and parking areas
o Ensure all guest traveled areas are free from tree hazards
- Maintain and keep records on all camp use work vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Aid in the physical facilities that support the equine ministry as directed by the Equestrian Coordinator. This may include but is not limited to:
o Fence building and repair
o Arena maintenance
o Storage shed or barn maintenance
o Underground utilities which support the equine ministry
o Removal of hazards from trees, rocks, wire from trails
- Maintain the following systems of the campus
o Potable Water pumping, treatment, and distribution.
o Wastewater treatment plant
o All other utilities to include: Propane tanks, septic tanks, spring houses, all underground utilities
- Give support to all other departments within the ministry as needed to include but not limited to:
o Cleaning with housekeeping, washing dishes, help with any / all activities..
