Requirements / Qualifications
TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE :
Graduation from high school, one year of experience working with individuals or students in an organized setting,
and one of the following : completion of at least two years of study (48 semester units) in an institution of higher
education, associate's degree, pass the district paraprofessional test, or be No Child Left Behind (NCLB) compliant.
BASIC FUNCTION :
Assist the classroom teacher in providing or reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students in a
classroom or other learning environment; assist in the preparation of instructional materials, and perform a variety
of clerical duties as assigned.
Comments and Other Information
Substitutes work on call as needed at varies site and department locations.
- This is a continuous posting for the 2024 / 2025 school year. Every few months we will invite interested applicants for an interview. We will screen periodically during the school year and will email qualified applicants at that time. We are Pre K- 12th grade district.
If selected, you will receive an email from the Substitute Office asking to bring in the following items :
SSN Card
California I.D
TB Test (no more than 60 days old)
NCLB or 48 units of college ( transcripts needed )
