Job Description:
The Part-Time Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to promote the non-profit organization's programs and services to the community. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for community engagement and outreach.
Responsibilities:
Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Develop and implement outreach plans to increase awareness of the non-profit organization's programs and services.
Identify and build relationships with community organizations and stakeholders to promote the non-profit organization's mission and programs.
Plan and coordinate outreach events, which may include community meetings, presentations, and workshops.
Collaborate with staff to develop marketing materials for outreach events and activities.
Attend relevant community meetings and events to represent the non-profit organization and build relationships with community members.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving outreach strategies and activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of outreach activities and results.
Develop and execute a social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create and curate content for social media channels that align with brand messaging and target audience interests.
Create and distribute regular newsletters to subscribers, featuring company news, promotions, and other relevant content.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
2 years of experience in community outreach or related field preferred.
Candidate will not eligible for any benefits until they have completed their 3-month probationary period.
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, though attendance at events occurring in the evenings and weekends may be expected. A successful candidate would be expected to conduct outreach on-site at various locations and events in the community, as well as attend periodic staff meetings at our office.
