Sacramento Furniture Restoration is located in Sacramento. We are a customer-focused furniture restoration company that repairs and restores wooden furniture. We are looking for the right person to help expand this exciting company.

If so, we are looking for someone like you to be our next Delivery Driver and Wood Shop Tech

This is a bit of a complex role as it serves several purposes and requires good time and equipment management.
First you would be responsible for the company deliveries and pickups. Not only the actual process of picking up/delivering but also making sure we understand customer expectations when we pick up the project and have met those expectations upon delivery. Next, this role will include customer service and sales as you help the production manager keep things moving forward. Lastly, you will be responsible for ensuring the shop is neat, clean, and organized.

Overall Responsibilities will include:

• The position is 25% pickup and delivery driver and 75% shop duties.
• Provide customers with a superior experience during all interactions
• Follow the existing pick-up and delivery schedule
• Drive and manage company box truck
• Ensure the company truck is neat, clean, and organized
• Obtain necessary materials, supplies, and tools to perform restoration task
• Finish products using assorted tools, including a sander
• Perform quality control checks on completed items to ensure they match with the work order
• Help production manager keep on schedule.
• Maintains a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an effective manner with coworkers and supervisors
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Help ensure that Sacramento Furniture Restoration is providing our customers with the very best quality, service, and value possible.

Requirements:

• Clean Driving Record.
• Experience driving larger vehicles or box trucks. Does not require a commercial license.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve quickly.
• Sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Maintain a neat and safe work environment.
• Ability to forecast problems and resolve them in real time.
• Be committed to providing the best possible experience, not only to our customers but also to your fellow employees.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team
• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, lower, push, and pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 50 lbs.
• Requires the ability to maneuver in confined areas
• Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily
• Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.

Compensation:

• $18-$22 per hour

A pre-employment background check must be passed upon the job offer.
