Power Generation is seeking a High Voltage Electrician Apprentice at our Hydro Generation Operation Facility (Fresh Pond) located approximately 60 miles east of Sacramento, 15 miles east of Placerville.

- List test equipment you have used in troubleshooting and / or maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Do you have experience using personal protective grounds? If so, describe the proper way to install personal protective grounds.
Purpose
An Apprentice High Voltage Electrician learns and assists in performing skilled mechanical and electrical work in and about electric substations, underground systems, and power generating plants.
Nature and Scope
The Apprentice High Voltage Electrician is concerned primarily with learning the skills involved in the installation and field maintenance of electrical equipment utilized in the electric utility industry.

On-Site
This role will be an on-site role that will require being in person at one of SMUD's campuses daily to complete work tasks.
