Since 2014, the club has reflected the Indomitable nature of California’s Capitol City, breaking league records year over year, winning the championship in its inaugural season, and sparking a regional passion for soccer. Owned and managed by a joint venture partnership between Wilton Rancheria and Kevin Nagle, the club will continue to invest in the city, with plans to build a Downtown soccer-specific stadium that will redefine entertainment in the growing and evolving Sacramento region. Along with its partners, Republic FC is committed to supporting various community investment programs to serve the city, use its platform to drive impact and success on and off the field, and operate the region’s only youth-to-pro soccer development academy, while also supporting the development of youth soccer players throughout Northern California.

The primary focus is strengthening partnerships via proactive communication and delivering measurable Return on Objectives (ROO) to ensure partner retention, renewal, and incremental revenue growth.
Position Summary: Sacramento Republic FC is seeking a Manager, Partnership Development to drive and execute partnership activations for our growing roster of corporate partners. This role is crucial for enhancing partner relationships through a deep understanding of their business objectives, and ensuring the successful implementation of contractual agreements and associated assets. The primary focus is strengthening partnerships via proactive communication and delivering measurable Return on Objectives (ROO) to ensure partner retention, renewal, and incremental revenue growth.
In this role, you will also identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships to achieve key objectives, enhance operational efficiencies, address unmet market needs, and expand customer and market reach. You will lead research efforts to uncover business opportunities, conduct due diligence, and formulate strategies for new partnerships. Additionally, you will negotiate agreements with prospective partners to formalize these relationships.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of current Club partners’ businesses and goals to create compelling partnership narratives and tailored solutions that maximize value.
- Plan, execute, and oversee partnership activation programs that align with partner goals and our organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activations, providing detailed post-event, mid-season, and end-of-season reports demonstrating ROI and ROO. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and recommend enhancements for future activations.
- Manage all aspects of project execution for assigned accounts, including contract implementation, signage, hospitality, events, in-venue and in-market activations, and community programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that both partner and organizational objectives are achieved.
- Perform administrative tasks, including real-time reporting in our CRM platform.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners to foster satisfaction, leading to higher retention rates and new business opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sports management, business, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in partnership activation, account management, or client services, preferably in sports, entertainment, or a related industry. Familiarity with ticketing, hospitality, and event logistics is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing high-profile corporate partnerships or multi-year service contracts and fulfilling contractual obligations.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to build productive relationships with partners and colleagues.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful campaigns and activations.
- Familiarity with partnership assets across multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and in-venue activations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated experience using Canva, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed (evenings, weekends, etc.).
- Must be able to work cooperatively in a team setting within all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift 20-25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods during activation events, partner events, and community engagements

Status: Full-time Hourly (non-exempt)
Compensation: $20.00-$27.00 hourly Commission and Bonus Structure
