Under General Supervision the Manager of Stadium Operations is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Stadium Operations, including; general upkeep, game and event set-up, parking lot shuttles and changeover. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Directs, supervises the daily work and schedule of the Stadium Operations Coordinators and Assistants and the Parking Staff.
- Determines staff hours and number of personnel required for events.
- Prepares schedules for Team Members and assigns them to specific areas for duty.
- Edits TMSS to resolve payroll discrepancies for team members in their area.
- Reviews, and monitors budget to ensure efficient operation, and to ensure expenditures stay within budget limitations.
- Attends meetings and training sessions, as requested.
- Ensures that operating departments receive pertinent information for the most effective use of the facility and staffing.
- Instills a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to departmental staff when carrying out jobs for other departments, clients, or guests.
- Ensures the stadium Work Orders are completed in a timely manner and are executed according to departmental standards.
- Supports the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Alongside the Director of Stadium Operations, is responsible for the successful operation of baseball games and special events.
- Provides yearly inventory of all equipment.
- Knows and ensures all laws, codes, ordinances, policies, procedures, Risk Management, safety precautions, rules/regulations and emergency procedures are followed.
- Assists in the development of programs to train all employees on Fire/Life Safety, Emergency and OSHA Procedures.
- Investigates, analyzes and resolves operational problems and complaints.
- Assists in the development and implementation preventive maintenance schedules, emergency procedures, safety and Risk Management policies in compliance with all company and governmental regulations.
- Ensure facility’s fire and emergency safety systems are in operating order and compliant with all codes, ordinances and laws.
- Various other duties and projects as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages subordinate Coordinators, Assistants, and Parking Staff.
- Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these areas.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources and in alignment with union contracts; addressing complaints and grievances and, resolving problems.

- Demonstrated knowledge of practices and procedures related to event set-up and conversions; typical methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining the facility equipment; and proper use and care of hand and power tools.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out tasks in a reliable, productive and expedient manner and be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Possess skills and experience in purchasing procedures and supervising/training personnel including scheduling and payroll.
- Engage in decision-making that is generally governed by procedure and guided by policy.
- Understand and work from general instructions, specifications, blueprints, sketches, event documents and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.

- Operate a personal computer using Windows, Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and other standard office equipment. CAD experience preferred.

- Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to four year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years facility management experience.
- A basic knowledge of at least one or two of the following building systems such as Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration, Fire Protection, and Building Management systems is preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Ability to oversee a safety program, with emphasis on awareness, discipline and compliance.
- Prior knowledge of stadium, arena, or event space changeovers preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Time-Keeping systems.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
- Forklift certification preferred.

Compensation:
This is a full-time non-exempt role with a base salary expectation of $58,240-$62,400 a year, minus taxes. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the pay range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
