A Brief Overview

Responsible for washing dishes, silverware, utensils, pots, pans and equipment in accordance with health, safety and sanitary procedures. Assists on tray-line. Provides quality, regular and therapeutically correct, customer meals/snacks through menu and texture modifications according to diet prescription.

What you will do

• Cleans and restocks starter station for next shift to established par levels.
• Rotates stock in starter station and coolers; removes outdated product.
• Oversee serving of patients for diet correctness, attractiveness, correct temperatures, customer satisfaction, etc. Demonstrates ability to check patient trays.
• Monitors correct use of dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitizing chemicals for safety and effectiveness.
• Properly cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, etc, work areas, and handcarts.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Previous food service experience
