Job Summary
Sacred Heart Schools Atherton is seeking an experienced Fundraising Strategist to lead our Advancement team in securing vital funding. This is a key position that requires strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for building strong relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of non-profit development experience, with a demonstrated success in annual fund functions, volunteer recruitment, and stewardship. They will be able to clear a background check and have a Bachelor's degree. The successful candidate will possess excellent research, writing, and editing skills, as well as the ability to produce professional-quality documents in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
The Fundraising Strategist will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer and other members of the Advancement team to develop and implement a comprehensive annual fund strategy. This will involve recruiting and training volunteers, planning and managing effective events, designing and creating collateral materials, drafting appeal letters, and preparing campaign reports. The successful candidate will also assist in the creation and publication of the Annual Report and thoughtfully analyze data to inform fundraising strategies.
