As a Thrift Store Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining store organization, and promoting our unique selection of thrift items. This is a temporary emplooyment opporutunity effective April 1st-May 31, 2025.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a tidy and appealing store layout.
- Demonstrate products to customers, highlighting features and benefits to encourage sales.
- Upsell items by suggesting complementary products based on customer needs.
- Maintain knowledge of store policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively assist customers.
- Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy.
- Participate in keeping the store clean and safe for customers and clients.

Skills

- High School diploma or GED and Experience in Retail sales.
- Experience with cash handling.
- Strong organization skills.
