Chemistry - Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor
The Department of Chemistry at Sacred Heart University invites applications for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor position specializing in Analytical Chemistry. The successful candidate will help support the department with teaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students. The successful candidate will contribute to the department's mission of excellence in teaching, and service.
Responsibilities:Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in analytical chemistry, instrumental analysis, general chemistry and related fields.
Manage and contribute to the state-of-the-art Instrumental Lab.Mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research and professional development.Contribute to departmental, college, and university service activities.
Qualifications:A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field, with a specialization in Analytical Chemistry, by the start date of the appointment. (ABD considered)
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.Experience with advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation.
