Neurosurgery Service Line APP Opportunity
Hendrick Clinic is establishing a Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) service line. The team will consist of Neurosurgery APPs who will support the Hendrick Clinic Neurosurgeons by providing healthcare to patients in the hospital and clinic setting. The APP responsibilities will include :
- Inpatient rounding
- Inpatient consults
- ED consults
- Call coverage
- Providing support in the OR
- Conducting follow-up visits in the clinic
Functions according to the established standards and practices of medicine for Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners in the State of Texas. Nurse Practitioners must have their Surgical First Assist (SFA).
