Sacred Heart University is seeking a dynamic instructor and experienced professional to join our Sport Communication and Media programs as an assistant teaching professor or assistant professor of practice . This position involves teaching and service in sports communication and media at both undergraduate and master's levels. The successful candidate will bring a rich background in sports communication and media, and a proven track record of excellence in teaching. An interest in program development and administration is also a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in sports media and sports communication.
- Supervise and mentor students in both theoretical and practical aspects of sports communication and media.
- Oversee student projects, productions and publications related to sports communication and media.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities, including committee work and community engagement.
