Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team. As an EMT, you will provide emergency medical care to patients in various settings. You will work with other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive top-notch care during emergencies.
Responsibilities- Perform interfacility transport duties, ensuring patients are safely moved between medical facilities as required.
- Quickly respond to emergency calls and provide immediate care to critically ill and injured patients.
- Evaluate patients' conditions and decide on the best treatment approach.
- Administer first aid and life-support care to sick or injured individuals before they reach the hospital.
- Operate medical equipment such as automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and bag valve masks (BVMs).
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities, continuously updating the hospital on the patient's condition.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the ambulance and at the station.
- Accurately and promptly complete detailed patient care reports and documentation.
- Stay updated on the latest medical techniques and emergency response protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Work effectively with other emergency services personnel, including firefighters, police officers, and hospital staff.
- Current AZ EMT certification.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- NIMS: IS-700 IS-100 IS-200
- Firefighter I & II
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift and move patients.
- Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience as an EMT or in a related healthcare field.
- NREMT.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
