Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including the kitchen and dining spaces.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food delivery and address any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, following proper procedures for handling ingredients.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order tracking and communication with kitchen staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and food handling procedures is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and service.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary during shifts.
