Diagnose operational problems with forklift controls and computerized controllers for multiple unit systems. Will organize shop activities according to workload along with the ability to explain, discuss, and provide solutions to repairs and replacements.

Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and performing repairs and replacements on electric and propane forklifts. Diagnose operational problems with forklift controls and computerized controllers for multiple unit systems. Will organize shop activities according to workload along with the ability to explain, discuss, and provide solutions to repairs and replacements.
Requirements
- 5 years’ experience and/or training in forklift repair & maintenance or similar mechanical position
- Factory specific forklift training preferred, certifications a plus
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner
- Knowledge of parts needed, knowledge of parts manuals, and ordering capabilities required
- Clean, valid Driver’s License Required
- Forklift certification required
- Technical skills from similar job experience required.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be self-motivated have strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. routinely throughout the work shift
- Successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening
