Job Description
- Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment by meeting or exceeding SCLS corporate safety goals.
- Follow directions given by Production Controllers to complete daily job tasks.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with great interpersonal skills.
- Strong reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must become highly proficient with WMS (Korber, formerly High Jump) and drive efficiencies through systemic improvements.
- Verify accuracy of orders in the WMS.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting or exceeding all key performance indicators.
- Solicit feedback and modify actions as appropriate to continually focus on improvements of company processes to ensure the customer’s needs are met for high-quality, cost-effective logistics services.
- Promote constant and measurable improvement; teach and facilitate SCLS’ culture of continuous improvement.
- Effectively communicate SCLS goals, expectations, areas for improvement and successes to associates.
- High School diploma: technical school or college degree preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent guest service skills
- Maintains positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- PC skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to accomplish work goals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others’ efforts.
- Identify and understand issues, problems, and opportunities; possess solid judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
