What You’ll Do
- Verify incoming freight, prepares labels for shipment.
- Visually verify identity and quantity of merchandise against Bill of Lading, Packing List paperwork and company assigned paperwork.
- Record evidence of tampering, shortages, excesses, damages or other unusual condition of merchandise.
- Must be able to label merchandise in a concentrated fast-paced environment.
- Contribute to goal of exceptional service in taking action when needed to communicate and resolve problems.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
- Provide outstanding service to the customer by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
- Follow company or site-specific safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
- Safely operates forklift or other machinery in order to assist the Warehouse operations needs such as: loading, unloading, and staging.
- Work cooperatively and productively with other warehouse associates.
- Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
- Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ forklift experience.
- Computer experience.
- Forklift certified.
- Able to record and track information using systems.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a position that requires analytical (mathematical) thinking.
- 1-2 years’ clamp experience with ability to operate skillfully and safely in a warehouse environment.
- Experience with warehouse systems.
