WHAT YOU WILL DO
Leadership
- Oversee AVL systems in the Lake Forest worship center, including installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Support the Production Events Manager with AVL installations and repairs across the Lake Forest campus.
- Assist the Worship Systems Director with campus-wide AVL installations.
- Use the ticketing system to receive, communicate, and manage AVL repair requests efficiently.
- Train and equip campus technicians and volunteers on AVL systems in collaboration with the Production Director and Production Events Manager.
- Coordinate with audio, video, and lighting leads to proactively address potential system issues.
- Serve as the primary technical expert and point of contact for system maintenance during weekend services and special events.
- Research AVL equipment and develop related proposals for the worship center.
- Forecast annual and seasonal budgets for AVL integration and maintenance in the worship center.
- Maintain relationships with AVL equipment manufacturers and vendors.
- Track and organize AVL equipment for future campus builds and special projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized stage, ensuring clear power and cable paths.
- Keep inventory of backup and portable equipment, ensuring readiness for use as needed.
- Coordinate with production leads to provide temporary equipment solutions while primary systems are under repair.
- Arrange rentals for events and conferences as needed.
- Assist with special projects and minor preventative maintenance tasks across campus.
- Develop and maintain accurate technical diagrams and system documentation for the Lake Forest worship center.
- AVL vendor invoicing
- Management of contract systems AVL invoicing
- RMA submittal and follow-up
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field. Audio / Video / Lighting and IT.
- Ability to solder and use power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and line diagrams.
- Experience with Yamaha audio consoles, Dante, Qsys.
- Experience with video signal conversion and calibration, including signal transfer and LED display technologies.
- Basic lighting controls experience, DMX protocol.
- Basic networking knowledge a plus.

Salary : $28 - $33
