Floral Designer

We are currently looking for an EXPERIENCED floral designer. 5 YEARS MINIMUM - DO NOT APPLY IF THIS IS MISSING PLEASE.

This is not a "fake it 'til you make it" job, or for those who have been only assistants, helpers, or dabbled in floristry. While we respect all of those positions this job is for an exceptionally experienced florist.

Must provide:

1. Resume with a solid referral.
2. Portfolio of work you’ve personally designed.

Ideal Candidate: ***MUST BE AN EXPERIENCED FLORAL DESIGNER***

1. Available from 9-4pm Monday through Friday (more hours available if needed) as well as an occasional Saturday for a delivery or small set up. Otherwise most weekends off.
2. Proficient on a computer and point of sale system (training offered on the point of sale - we use the IRIS System)
3. Able to work under pressure while multitasking.
4. Exceptional customer service skills
5. Thorough understanding of retail floristry with extensive knowledge in flowers, all occasions, pricing, design, purchasing, and execution of an order from start to finish.

7. Openness to complete all jobs from cleaning buckets to managing the store. No job too small or big.

9. Availability for very long hours during major holiday weeks/months- Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.
10. Self starting and motivated to learn and grow.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
