What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher (Full-Time) position at Saddlebrooke HOA#1?
Summary of Position:
Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dish-room and equipment clean and organized. Dishwashers work in both of two kitchens throughout their shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Load, run and unload the dish machine.
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
- Clean the dish station, floors surrounding, floor drains, mats, walk-in and dry storage floors.
- Maintain the levels of cleanliness and sanitation as stated in Pinal County Health Codes and Saddlebrooke standards.
- Assist the cooks with any prep work they might need assistance with.
- Assist kitchen staff with daily cleaning.
- Clean the back dock twice a week to help prevent pests.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
- Keep the dish machine chemicals stocked by maintaining adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Maintain a good level of personal hygiene and wear appropriate clothing.
- Exhibit a positive and team work ethic.
- Communicate with immediate managers any needs for equipment to help with the job; all situations, problems or concerns regardless of severity.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
Qualifications:
- Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
- Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
- Be able to work all scheduled shifts.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
- Be able to safely lift, bags, cases and stacks many times per shift.
- Willingness to stay past scheduled shift in order to complete duties if needed.
