Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Wine Club Manager to lead, manage, and grow our wine club program. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance membership experiences, increase membership acquisition, and foster long-term relationships with wine club members. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of wine, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven ability to manage logistics and marketing efforts to ensure the continued success and growth of our wine club.
Key Responsibilities:
Wine Club Membership Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the wine club, ensuring smooth fulfillment and accurate pick-ups of wine club orders.
- Maintain and manage membership database, ensuring accurate records of membership levels, preferences, and special requests.
- Coordinate member communications, including updates, newsletters, and special promotions.
Customer Service & Member Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for wine club members, answering inquiries and providing exceptional service to create a positive member experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members to encourage renewals, referrals, and member loyalty.
- Organize and host virtual or in-person tastings, events, and wine-related experiences that engage members and promote wine education.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for newsletters, social media, and promotional materials.
- Identify and implement special offers, seasonal promotions, and exclusive member benefits to drive engagement and increase sign-ups.
Logistics & Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with the warehouse or fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate shipment of wine to members.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the purchasing team to ensure that wine club selections are available and meet member demand.
- Track and report on key performance metrics for the wine club, including growth rates, retention, and satisfaction levels.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Organize wine club-exclusive events, such as wine tastings, wine and food pairings, vineyard tours, or private dinners.
- Ensure seamless execution of events, including guest lists, logistics, and guest interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to create memorable, engaging experiences for members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a wine-related or hospitality role, preferably with previous wine club, retail, or customer relationship management experience.
- Strong knowledge of wines, wine regions, and wine production.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience with CRM software, email marketing tools, and social media platforms.
- Strong customer service focus with a dedication to exceeding member expectations.
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for special events or member activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from recognized wine education programs (e.g., WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers).
- Event planning experience.
- Proficiency in wine sales or direct-to-consumer wine business models.
