We are a family owned wholesale bread bakery. We deliver freshly baked bread to the best hotels, restaurants and markets in Southern California. We are looking for a talented Customer Service Representative who prides themselves on providing exceptional service. We have an upbeat, casual and entrepreneurial workplace. The schedule is Thursday - Monday. Days Off Tuesday and Wednesday (8am - 5:30pm)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take orders via phone, fax and email.
- Enter orders and prepare reports for production, packing and delivery departments.
- Resolve customer complaints and meet customer needs and requests.
- Maintain customer database.
- Become a bread expert and offer product suggestions, introduce new products and help chef customers choose the best products for their needs.
- Advocate for customers to internal departments to address concerns and unresolved issues.
Requirements:
- 1 years customer service experience in a business to business context.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through.
- Proficient in data entry and facility with basic business software.
- Must be enthusiastic and self motivated.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently.
- Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to work the required schedule of Friday - Tuesday (Wednesdays and Thursdays off).
- Valid California drivers license, reliable vehicle, insurance and clean DMV record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 9 per week
