Looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and passionate Medical Assistant for our brand-new Express Care Clinic in the West Shore/Mechanicsburg .
We are seeking a full-time Express Care Medical Assistant to work three 12.5-hour shifts per week (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM).
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed is required.
As an Express Care Medical Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and by phone.
- Ensure smooth clinic operations by coordinating patient flow.
- Escort patients to exam rooms and assist providers with minor procedures.
- Document patient information in the Electronic Health Record.
- Perform basic lab tests, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assist in emergency situations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms.
To be considered for this position you must have a high school diploma or GED and must have completed an accredited Medical Assisting program.
You must have at least 6 months of full-time Medical Assistant experience and have an active CPR/AED certification.
Those with previous experience working at a FQHC or community health center, urgent care, express care or high-volume clinic will be preferred as well those who hold an active Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA/CCMA) certification.
This position starts between $20-21 per hour.
