What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electronics Technician position at Sadoff Brand?
Our incredible team of ITAD Technicians perform tear down, assembly, refurbishing, sorting, and asset tracking of electronic devices that are slotted for resale. From cell phones to stereo systems, our Tech’s conduct testing to ensure devices are performing at top capacity, and maintain spreadsheets of data collected. Day to day responsibilities may include:
- Data entry and maintenance
- Memory testing and sorting
- Hard drive data sanitization
- Package, palletize, load, transport, and unload freight while adhering to all required safety and quality standards.
- Prepare, receive and remit appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of freight to ensure accurate order tracking, billing, and timely service.
- Responsible for managing packaging supply inventory.
- Responsible for all inventory management, onsite scanning, and reconciliation
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Though we only require a high school diploma or equivalent, post high school education in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field may be helpful to candidates.
- A basic understanding of computer hardware, as well as high integrity and strong critical thinking skills are essential to success in this role.
- Techs will often find themselves working both independently and in group settings during the day, therefore self-discipline and an innate work ethic are paramount.
- Must be at able to lift up to 50 lb.’s without assistance.
- Have a professional appearance and behavior, including punctuality.
- Be results oriented, and have excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to interface with technical and non-technical staff. Strong communication skills: written, verbal, comprehension.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in various forms (written, oral or diagram).
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptable to change in process or required activities. Ability to identify IT devices including, PC’s, laptops, HDD’s, printers, networking, monitors.
- Ability to work independently and perform other duties as assigned.
