We are looking for the right person to join our team, where people and culture matter! The Treasury Manager is responsible for various tasks, including trade accounts receivable collections, credit limit evaluation, cash flow forecasting, debt service cost management, banking treasury services, bank reconciliations, and other banking activities and communications. This position also oversees compliance with covenants, manages debt service contractual agreements, actively participates in month-end closing, and performs additional general accounting duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May hire, train, and oversee direct reports.
  • May oversee the scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of direct reports in the department.
  • Assists in training personnel as needed or as directed.
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive, providing recommendations for development, promotion, and salary adjustment as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Cash Flow Management: Develop and execute strategies to optimize cash flows, monitor daily cash positions, and ensure efficient cash utilization across the organization.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk (if applicable), and credit risk. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, such as hedging programs and insurance policies, to protect the company's financial position and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Treasury Operations: Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash movements, wire transfers, investment transactions, and liquidity management. Ensure accurate and timely execution of treasury activities while adhering to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on cash positions, liquidity forecasts, and key treasury metrics for senior management. Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes. Monitor and report on treasury performance against established benchmarks and key performance indicators.
  • Compliance and Internal Controls: Stay informed of regulatory changes related to treasury operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and maintain a strong internal control environment.

OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, including banks, investment firms, and rating agencies.
  • Negotiate banking services, monitor account performance, and ensure compliance with banking agreements.
  • Stay informed about market trends and financial products to leverage opportunities that benefit the company.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Extensive knowledge of corporate finance, financial markets, and treasury management best practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial systems, treasury management software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING

  • Eight to ten years of related experience.

  • Supervisory experience
    • Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Required
  • Professional designations in Treasury Management.
    • Preferred
  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
