Sales and Service Pest Technician

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicle to customer locations
• Meets with customers to explain service and service agreement and has customers fill out appropriate documentation
• Inspects the customer’s premises to identify insect and pest problems
• Makes sales presentations to customers by explaining their pest problem, answering questions and providing solutions
• Applies appropriate products according to label directions and advises customer of the services provided
• Contacts customers to schedule service appointments, respond to any problems and upsell services
• Cold calls and cloverleafs potential customers to increase revenue and achieve sales goals
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Achieves assigned service and sales performance objectives

Requirements

• 18 years of age
• Ability to work a schedule of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Run an average of 4 - 6 provided customer appointments daily
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in the field with strong organizational skills
• Physical capability to performing pest control services, such as lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and crawling into tight spaces as required
• Sales experience desired
• Route based experience a plus
• Clean-shaven due to health and safety purposes
• The ability to pass a background check, drug screen and MVR check
