Description
We are looking for a skilled Assembler plays a critical role in our production process by assembling various components and products according to specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembly: Assemble products and components following detailed instructions and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections. Ensure all assembled items meet quality standards and specifications.
- Material Handling: Transport and handle materials, parts, and finished products using hand trucks, forklifts, or other equipment as required.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to supervisors.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and reports related to assembly and production. Maintain accurate records of completed work.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other assembly workers and departments to meet production goals and deadlines. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Suggest improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency.
- Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is an advantage, but not required.
- Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and machinery, strong attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Attributes: Reliable, eager to learn, and able to work well independently or as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.
