Description
1st, 2nd, 3rd shift - CNC Vertical or Horizontal Milling Operator
2nd Shift ($1.00 per hour premium)
3rd Shift ($2.00 per hour premium)
$20.00 to $26.00 per hour.
Our shop is predominantly equipped with robotic cells, making up over 95% of our operations. We are looking for a skilled CNC Vertical or Horizontal Milling Operator to become a key member of our team.
CNC Vertical or Horizontal Milling Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC vertical or horizontal milling machines
- CNC Vertical Lathe experience
- Familiarity with DMG or Mori or Doosan Machines
- G&M Code familiarity
- Ability to perform your own tool changes
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Understanding of containment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Production oriented
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating CNC vertical or horizontal milling machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of G & M code programming
- Ability to use precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
