Overview:

dedicated Lifeguard to oversee the safety of our employees and customers. Reporting directly to
the General Manager, the Lifeguards play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for our
students, parents, and staff. If you are excited about giving back to the community and making a

Responsibilities:
Safety
- Maintain constant surveillance to ensure the safety of our customers and report any unsafe
activities, equipment or instruction to management.
- Provide feedback to instructors immediately if they are outside of curriculum safety
requirements (i.e. safety distances, holds, turning backs, etc.)
- Act immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of customers in the event of an
emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical
services.
- Prepare appropriate incident reports.
- Always present a professional and engaging attitude.
- Attend monthly in-services to continue to work on lifeguarding skills.
Customer
- Deliver a world-class experience by ensuring we are providing a safe environment for our
swimmers.
Job Type
- Part-time
- Pay: $13 - $24 per hour (experience, location and volume impacts)
- Weekdays, Weeknights and Weekends required
- 10 hours a week (seasonality can impact this)
- Work Location: On-site
Requirements
- Lifeguard Certification is required and must be maintained during time of employment (we
will provide)
- Current CPR-PR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required within 90 days of hire and be
maintained (we will provide)
- Expected to learn the curriculum to include all safety aspects within 30 days of
employment.
