What Duties to Expect as a Food Service Associate:
- Provide prompt, courteous service
- Operate the cash register accurately and handle cash and other accepted payment for products sold.
- Prepare foods by ingredients lists.
- Actively participate in food service promotions and upsell opportunities.
- Be aware of and adhere to all local, state, and federal laws that affect food safety and sanitation.
- Address customer complaints in a positive manner, document and work with management to resolve.
- Ensure that the store is clean of trash and spills, and that all equipment is sanitized and in working condition.
- Safely and efficiently operate all kitchen equipment.
- Checking perishable item's dates for freshness and properly rotate stock.
- Check identification per company policy for alcohol and tobacco sales.
- Follow company policy for safety, theft reduction and violence prevention.
- Have a strong desire to SERVE your fellow staff and customers.
