Guru, Inc., an IT Managed Service Provider, is hiring a Sales Representative for the Washington DC / Rockville, MD / Northern Virginia territory.
OPPORTUNITY :
As our Territory Sales Representative, you will expand and develop new business through proactive prospecting within your territory. Prospect new businesses targeting small to mid-size companies with 20-100 workstations. Interface with business owners (on-site and virtual) to build rapport and trust that leads to new engagements. Reporting to the owner, you will be instrumental in Guru’s five-year growth plan to triple revenues! It is an exciting time to have a significant business impact, and your efforts will be financially rewarded.
This is a hybrid position where you have the flexibility to balance company office, home office and prospect meetings to achieve sales results.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Develop and close new accounts through disciplined prospecting and relationship building.
- Expand your own prospecting efforts by reaching out to warm leads to obtain discovery meetings.
- Effectively work your territory and build new sales within key accounts.
- Perform solution-based sales meetings with decision makers.
- Continuously develop your knowledge of our wide service offerings.
- Consistently perform and track sales activities that generate results.

Guru will reward your sales talents with a compensation plan that includes an attractive base salary plus commission. First year OTE expected to be $100k-$125k . You will also enjoy a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, retirement plan, and paid vacation.
