Job Overview
As a DSP - Site Supervisor at Safe and Secure Homecare, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the care and support provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will lead a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of DSPs in providing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and professional development
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of DSPs and provide feedback and coaching as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and any incidents or concerns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
