The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of care, managing staff, overseeing administrative processes, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This individual will play a key role in enhancing the quality of care provided to clients and supporting the growth and development of our home healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage and coordinate all aspects of home healthcare services, including scheduling, staffing, and service delivery, ensuring that client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
- Staff Management: Supervise and support a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and administrative staff. Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Ensure the proper allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, medical equipment, and supplies, to optimize service delivery and maintain high operational standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all home healthcare services comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to licensing, billing, and patient privacy (e.g., HIPAA).
- Quality Control: Develop and implement protocols to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care. Conduct regular audits and evaluations to maintain service standards and improve operational processes.
- Client Satisfaction: Monitor client feedback and satisfaction, addressing any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner. Work with the clinical team to ensure that care plans are updated and personalized according to client needs.
- Budget Oversight: Assist in developing and managing the operational budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while controlling costs and maintaining profitability.
- Billing and Revenue Cycle Management: Oversee the billing and coding process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing for services rendered. Collaborate with the finance team to optimize reimbursement processes.
- Cost Control: Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising the quality of care or service delivery.
- Staff Scheduling: Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize disruptions in care delivery. Ensure that the team is fully staffed to meet the needs of the clients.
- Internal Communication: Foster open and effective communication between all departments, including clinical teams, administrative staff, and leadership. Ensure that information is shared promptly and accurately.
- Client and Family Communication: Serve as a point of contact for client families, addressing concerns, providing updates on care, and ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Work with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure that client needs are met holistically.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in home healthcare operations or healthcare management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of home healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of billing, coding, and revenue cycle management in home healthcare (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
