What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver-NEMT (non-emergency medical transportation) position at Safe Care Transportation?

We are seeking a reliable and safe Driver to add to our expanding fleet. The ideal candidate will have superior communication, organizational & driving skills. This is an independent contractor role, you will receive a 1099, and will be using your OWN VEHICLE registered to you, with full coverage insurance for this position. NON-NEGOTIABLE.
Duties:
***Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers & riders/members.
***Ensure timely transportation of riders/members to the designated medical facility. There are penalties for not arriving on time!!
***Keeping your vehicle maintained, your vehicle is your office. It MUST be clean inside and out and in optimal running condition.
***Be able to work remotely and perform your duties independently and with a high level of professionalism and success.
Skills:
***Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license & registration.
***Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
***Familiarity with apps used for route planning and I navigation tools.
***Must be a self starter that's able to manage your day in a timely and accurate manner.
***There will be a background check done prior to hiring you. This consists of a drug test you MUST pass, along with any criminal or misdemeanor offenses you have received. Also a driving record will be obtained showing any speeding tickets, accidents etc. Due to the cost of the background check there will be a $100.00 fee charged to you for this service. This is non-refundable and non-negotiable!!

The approval process will take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. You will have 48 hours to complete the onboarding requirements patience is a MUST!!
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
