SUMMARY:

Under supervision and in accordance with existing procedures and systems, provides a variety of member service functions accurately and efficiently via interactive teller machine and 2-way video/audio. Primary goal is to enhance member’s experience by providing exceptional, friendly, professional, and consistent service at all times. Effective communication over video is key. Must be willing to work flexible schedule to accommodate operating hours and business needs of branches equipped with interactive teller machines.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

·    Actively listens to member requests and sells/cross sells services to meet both their perceived and unperceived needs. Actively educates and provides product/service guidance to members.

·    Works independently and utilizes effective problem-solving skills to resolve issues; effectively uses position authority and knowledge of operating and security procedures to make on the spot decisions to include exceptions and adjustments.

·     Processes and qualifies all deposit items, withdrawals, and transfers to and from various accounts. Processes loan and credit card payments and assesses appropriate service charge/fees. Processes loan advances from various credit products.

·         Ensures accuracy in transactions to maintain an acceptable balancing ratio which will in turn increase and/or maintain member satisfaction and confidence.

·     Completes forms for address changes, CTR’s and SAR’s, and relays those forms to the appropriate departments.

·         Responsible for following all established security procedures/protocol as it relates to remote operation of interactive teller machines as well as any supporting activity or infrastructure.

·         Promote and solicit for all credit union sponsored promotions, events, projects, and fundraisers.

·         Supports the Electronic Service department when volume warrants.

·         Assists in approving Remote Deposit Capture as volume requires.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No requirement.

 

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

The ability to handle transactions accurately. Strong interpersonal skills. Must be comfortable, professional, and friendly on camera. Excellent verbal communication skills (pleasant and articulate telephone voice) and people skills required. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.

Regulatory Requirements:  Your position has specific procedures that must be followed to comply with Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and Bank Secrecy/Patriot Act. You will receive annual training to keep you current on any changes to these policies/procedures to assure compliance.  Failure to comply with procedures may cause termination of your position as well as possible monetary penalties from the federal regulatory agency.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
