High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and 1 to 2 years of related experience, preferably in the Financial Industry field and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Maintain a close working relationship with the compliance officer, credit union employees, and third party processor to successfully implement changes and maintain the day-day operations regarding the card programs, in an effort to keep the card programs in compliance with the standards set forth from Visa, MasterCard, and the credit union’s lending policy
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following
- Continuously be aware of credit card changes in order to research member concerns associated with incorrect billing or general credit card problems.
- Researches and prepares faxed, written, electronic, & oral communication for members regarding ATM, debit and credit card services.
- Prepare & distribute monthly reports for management reflecting new credit card accounts generated & processed, limit changes, and insurance penetration.
- Process monthly credit card maintenance reports for inactive credit card, invalid estatement email addresses, rate change, credit bureau reporting, rewards removal, and fraud strategies.
- Respond and assist members with lost/stolen cards, including issuance of replacement cards, and assist the member with fraud claims.
- Responsible for the reconciliation of general ledgers associated with credit card BIN’s, including research and corrections needed to balance and maintain accurate accounting records to prevent and minimize credit union loss.
- Processes returned checks for credit card payments received by tellers and MSC.
- Process daily credit card settlement to ensure adjustments are made and allocated to proper general ledger accounts.
- Maintain on-going communication with the Dispute Resolution Coordinator to keep abreast of changes in dispute/fraud processing rules and regulations.
- Assists the Director of Payments with implementation of new and annual card program initiatives, such as installment payments, skip pay and auto increases.
- Orient and train new Card Service employees, on company card programs.
- Handles the daily operations of the Card Support Specialist in his/her absences.
- Reconcile and research out of balance conditions in the cash advance general ledger.
- Verify and process incoming and outgoing Wire Transfers.
- Other duties as assigned.
