Position : Facility Maintenance Worker
Full-time : hours from 7 : 45 am to 4 : 15 p.m. Onsite Monday through Friday
Hourly rate : $19-$20 / hour for 40 hours per week
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Perform minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other mechanical systems.
- Maintain and repair doors, windows, floors, and walls to ensure a safe and functional environment.
- Handle general carpentry work, including furniture assembly and installation.
- Monitor and address issues related to pest control, waste management, and recycling.
- Assist in maintaining outdoor areas, including landscaping and snow removal.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and schedule repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Required to interact with coworkers and all other departments in a professional manner.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
