Job Overview:
The IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for managing an organization's IT assets throughout their lifecycle. Required IT Asset metadata is also to be managed and updated.
As always, this role will be expected to support the corporate mission with “other duties as assigned.”
Job Responsibilities:
- Asset Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining records of IT assets, ensuring they are properly tagged, tracked, and accounted for.
- Lifecycle Management: Ensuring all assets stay in good condition and meet industry standards. Asset metadata and risk metrics are maintained throughout the lifecycle.
- Compliance and Audits: Conducting regular audits to check compliance with internal controls, software licenses and legal rules.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Supporting the purchase process by selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
- Cost Optimization: Analyzing asset usage to find ways to save money and prevent over-licensing
- Reporting, Analytics and Documentation: Creating reports on asset status, expenses, and compliance. Produce and maintain analytics using data tools.
- Provide IT Support Backup: Provides support for remote site as needed

Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail is a necessity.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, problem-solving and communication skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting, excellent Excel skills, prefer experience with PowerBI reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Typically, a minimum of 5-7 years in IT asset management or a related field.
