Internship Overview and Project Scope:
The HR Intern will work with the company's nascent ESG Committee to assist with developing the company's ESG baseline plan. The fellow will work under the supervision of the company's ESG Committee co-leads, the General Counsel and the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Internship Overview and Project Scope:
The HR Intern will work with the company's nascent ESG Committee to assist with developing the company's ESG baseline plan. The fellow will work under the supervision of the company's ESG Committee co-leads, the General Counsel and the Chief Human Resources Officer.
Internship Project:
- Safe-Guard is establishing its ESG Strategy. We will conduct a materiality assessment in a live workshop led by the ESG Advisory Team from Hellman and Friedman (H&F). The outcome of the workshop will be to identify and select the 2-3 ESG priorities for Safe-Guard.
- We will then develop Safe-Guard’s ESG strategy roadmap for execution with timelines and targets. The workshop is tentatively scheduled for June 5, 2025, but we will adjust based on the intern’s start date.
- Ideally, we would like the intern to attend. The assignment will entail supporting the CHRO and General Counsel in the creation of the roadmap. In addition, the intern will support the execution of the roadmap during the internship.
- The Intern will have the opportunity to learn new skills, learn a new industry, and interface with C-Suite level professionals. Our objective is to provide Mariana with this type of exposure for her continued professional growth. We also want to give Mariana the opportunity to apply her education and skillset to our ESG initiative. A successful outcome will include Mariana’s personal growth and an initial ESG Strategy Roadmap for Safe-Guard.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Basic knowledge in the gathering of standard requirements for ESG plans relevant to public companies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to take constructive feedback.
- Hands-on experience working with a leading company in the automotive protection industry.
