Job Title: Software Development Intern (Hybrid)

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA : Non-exempt

Job Overview :

The Software Development Intern will work within the Software Development Department, supporting the creation of the API Developer Portal. This project will focus on developing a central hub for API documentation, interactive testing, and an AI-powered chatbot for developer assistance using technologies such as Angular, Spring Boot, and AWS. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy individual with a passion for software development and user experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to build the API Developer Portal using Java, Angular, Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services.
• Assist in integrating Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation.
• Help implement interactive API testing features using WireMock.
• Contribute to the development of an LLM-powered chatbot for real-time developer assistance.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to improve the portal's usability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Prepare documentation and presentations for project updates.
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Java. Familiarity with Angular and Spring Boot is a plus.
• Understanding of API concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
