Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our Home Health Care services. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in home health care and a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a similar setting. As Director of Nursing, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor the nursing team to ensure high standards of care, professionalism, and compliance across all services.
- Patient Care Oversight: Supervise patient care plans, assessments, and treatment strategies to ensure effective and compassionate care tailored to individual needs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health care regulations and standards.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and overall efficiency.
- Staff Training & Development: Oversee ongoing training programs, certification requirements, and professional development for nursing staff.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, support staff, and administration to promote a team-centered approach to patient care.
- Budgeting & Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets, resources, and staffing to optimize efficiency while maintaining quality care.
- Community Outreach: Serve as a representative for the organization within the local healthcare community, fostering partnerships and promoting our services.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in home health care, with at least 2 years in a director or similar management role.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters in Nursing or Healthcare Administration (preferred).
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Michigan.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions; proficiency in EMR and healthcare software systems.
