Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and document vital signs as needed.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules while ensuring compliance with medication administration protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including housekeeping tasks as necessary.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and enhancing their quality of life.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a group home or assisted living setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of senior care practices and long-term care principles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and vital sign monitoring is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy and confidentiality.

- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting or transferring clients as required.
